Mantra Movements was founded on the belief that sustainable mental health comes from understanding, loving, and caring for your body. As an educator, sister, daughter, niece, and friend, our founder, Armoni Moody, has experienced first-hand how both mental and bodily health challenges disproportionately impact youth and women of color across America. With this as the motivation, Mantra Movements shapes wellness to be as accessible, realistic, and joyful for these communities as possible. We hold a strong commitment to teaching body-centered wellness practices that our clients can carry with them through a lifetime, centering self-love and self-empowerment every step of the way.

OUR IMPACT

  • We work with organizations across America to bring wellness and fitness classes to youth and young adults in the form of workshops, seminars, classes, summer camps, and more.

  • We love to get creative! While we do have a standard repertoire of class packages, we love to dream with you! We work intentionally with the community to create courses and workshops that serve your wants and needs!

  • We pride ourselves in offering customizable packages and curriculum to most effectively engage and empower the communities we work with. Age, race, group size, location, socioemotional needs, and more are all taken into consideration with each and every partnership.

Meet Our Founder

Hey lovelies! I'm Armoni, a healing-centered wellness educator who teaches women and youth small, sustainable ways to prioritize their mental health through the body. I believe that building a deep understanding of mind-body connection can exponentially improve your life. My life mission is to empower and uplift humans in building healthy lifestyles filled with joy & freedom.

I hail from the shining, Southern city of Atlanta, GA, and you’ll hear me talk about it all the time. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and Education Studies from Barnard College of Columbia University in New York, NY and a Master of Education in Arts Education and Human Development & Psychology from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, MA. I am a nationally certified Fitness Instructor, trained Restorative Justice and Mindfulness facilitator, and Certified Pre-K through 12th grade Dance Wellness Educator.

When I’m not being a wellness warrior, I pretend to be a Food Network star. I love making my foodie favorites into healthier - but still delicious - new recipes for my family and friends.
